Pour Judgement Bar & Grill owner Hank Whitin is set to take his bike across the country to help fight multiple sclerosis.

Whitin will ride alongside his team, team Pour Judgement as pat of Bikes and Beers Across America which is set to begin for them on Sunday, May 21 in Astoria, Oregon. Whitin is the founder of the event.

“I realized I didn’t want to turn 50, 25 lbs. overweight and drunk in my own bar. So I decided to bike across the country again, as I did when I was 23 years old,” said Whitin.

The team will bike out of Astoria to Portland in hopes of connecting with craft breweries and brew pubs along the way.

“BBAM is all about inclusion. So cyclists and craft brew lovers are welcome to join for various legs of the ride,” said Whitin.

Fundraiser Coming up

Team Pour Judgement will host their first fundraiser on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6-9 P.M. at Ocean Cliff Hotel & Resort.

Tickets are $40 at the door.
