JD McPherson at the Wonder Ballroom

JD McPherson will bring his revivalist and pioneering brand of roots rock to the Wonder Ballroom this Wednesday.
McPherson, who claims that ‘Keep a Knockin’ by Little Richard is the “best song ever made,” is known for a unique style of rock’n’roll. It blends forgotten lessons from the genre’s earliest days with modernities of studio techniques and 21st century singer/songwriter idiosyncracies.
McPherson is touring with LA-based duo HoneyHoney, promoting their new album, “3.”
The music begins at 9 PM on Wednesday, January 13 at the Wonder Ballroom, located at 128 NE Russel Street in Portland. For more information or to get your tickets, visit the online box-office.
