GoLocalPDX spotted plenty of celebrities passing through Portland over the last year.
Some of them were here to visit family and friends, like Lucy Liu and Katee Sackhoff.
Some were here to make movies or attend movie premieres, like Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin and Reese Witherspoon.
And still others were here to make a guest appearance on one of the biggest hits to ever hit cable television: IFC's "Portlandia."
GoLocalPDX (and Byron Beck) spotted several of them prior to IFC's official announcement of guest stars. Those stars include Parker Posey, Brigitte Nielsen, Paul Reubens (aka Pee-Wee Herman), Jane Lynch (and, just maybe, Andy Samberg).
And those that weren't spotted by GoLocalPDX were spotted by Splitsider who spent way too much time on Carrie Brownstein's Instagram account.
In honor of Thursday night's Season 5 premiere episode GoLocalPDX gives you the day and place where the celebs were seen prior to jumping in front of the "Portlandia" cameras.

Parker Posey
Spotted in Portland: September 17, 2014
Posey, the star of such classic comedy films as Party Girl, Best In Show, A Mighty Wind and Waiting for Guffman, made a quick trip to Portland to shoot an episode of Portlandia. Word is that Posey was in town for a very brief time, but still had a chance to see a few of the sights.

Brigitte Nielsen
Spotted in Portland: September 17, 2014
Brigitte Nielsen, the star of Red Sonja, Rocky IV, Beverly Hills Cop II and the reality show Flavor of Love, was spotted shopping with her doggies in tow in downtown Portland.
Why, she even popped into Morrison Nail Studio on Southwest Morrison Street to get her nails done! No word on why the mighty Brigitte and her pups might be in town...yet.

Paul Reubens

Spotted in Portland: Sunday, September 7, 2014
Paul Reubens was spotted outside a downtown Portland hotel early Sunday afternoon. Reubens, best known for his iconic role on television and in film as Pee-Wee Herman, was said to be in town over the weekend for a guest-starring role on the hit IFC show, Portlandia.

Jane Lynch
Spotted in Portland: June 18, 2012
It could not have been a better sighting on Pride day. Out actress Jane Lynch (in town for an engagement in support of Third Rail Rep) and singer/songwriter k.d. lang (newly transplanted Portlander) were spotted having lunch on Sunday morn at Irving St. Kitchen deep in the heart of the Pearl District.

Spotted in Portland: May 27, 2014
Actress/singer Maya Rudolph was spotted with her hubby, director Paul Thomas Anderson, and her fellow Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg on Saturday night at Gruner Restaurant in Portland's west end.
