Missing 2-Year-Old Portland Boy Found Safe

Portland Police announced that, "at approximately 11:45 a.m., Mountain Wave Search and Rescue personnel safely located 2-year-old River in some blackberry bushes not far from his home. River was transported to the hospital for exposure to cold temperatures and some scratches from the bushes." 

Officers from the Portland Police Bureau and Beaverton Police Department, FBI agents and search and rescue personnel searched for several hours before locating River 

Investigators will forward all police reports to the Oregon Department of Human Services for review, which is standard in any case involving child welfare. 

The Bureau would like to thank all those who assisted with today's search.
